West Orange has a farmers market almost every weekend. You can shop on Friday in Windermere, Saturday in Winter Garden, and two Sundays a month in Horizon West. Here is when to go, where to park and what to know.
Winter Garden Farmers Market (Saturdays)
The Winter Garden Farmers Market is the big one. It runs every Saturday, all year, from 8 AM to 1 PM at the Downtown Pavilion, 104 S. Lakeview Ave.
More than 100 vendors and about 3,500 shoppers each week. It started in 2008.
Live music from 9 AM to 1 PM.
EBT and SNAP are accepted.
Leashed dogs and cats are welcome. Leashes must be 8 feet or shorter.
Free parking in the garage at 160 S. Boyd St. and the lot at 37 N. Boyd St.
Kids can cool off at the Downtown Interactive Fountain next door.
Free special events, 9 AM to noon: Health and Harvest Festival on Nov. 7, a Thanksgiving Celebration on Nov. 21, and visits from the Jolly Fellow on Dec. 12 and Dec. 19.
Windermere Farmers Market (Fridays)
The Windermere Farmers Market is the rare market on a weekday. It runs Fridays from 9 AM to 1:30 PM at Town Square Park, 520 Main St. Leashed pets are welcome. Read more in our Windermere guide.
Homegrown Market at Hamlin (1st and 3rd Sundays)
Homegrown Market at Hamlin runs on the first and third Sunday of each month, from 9 AM to 1 PM. It sits next to Home State Brewing Co. and Filigree Coffee at 16016 New Independence Pkwy. in Horizon West.
Live music, yoga and food vendors.
Cars and Coffee on the first Sunday.
Park on the first floor of the Cinepolis garage or on the street.

Plant Street Market (every day)
Plant Street Market is not a farmers market, but it is a great rainy-day backup. About 20 local vendors sell food and goods under one roof in downtown Winter Garden. It opens at 10 AM on Saturdays and 11 AM the rest of the week.
Tips for market day
Go early. The best produce and baked goods go fast.
Bring your own bags and a water bottle.
