Urban on Plant. This is the classic downtown brunch at 132 W. Plant St. Brunch runs Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 AM to 2 PM. The kitchen is known for brick oven cooking and flatbreads, and you can sit inside or out.
The Hangry Bison. Burgers meet brunch at 250 W. Plant St. Weekend brunch runs from 11 AM to 2 PM with its own brunch menu.
Rosallie Le French Cafe. For pastries and coffee, go to 141 W. Plant St. It opens at 7 AM Monday to Saturday and 8 AM on Sunday. Think fresh breads, sandwiches, salads and espresso drinks.
Plant Street Market. Can't agree on brunch? About 20 vendors share one roof. The market opens at 10 AM on Saturday and 11 AM on Sunday. Grab coffee at Axum Coffee and a treat from Sir Benji's Donuts.

Dixie Cream Cafe. This Main Street favorite at 434 Main St. has served breakfast and lunch since 2010. Order the Bananas Foster French Toast or the Southern Fried Chicken and Cheddar Grits. There is an outdoor patio, and the cafe says to bring your dog.

First Watch Winter Garden. Need brunch on a weekday? This spot at 3017 Daniels Road, Suite 102, is open daily from 7 AM to 2:30 PM.
